| Ok Lydia, here are a couple of comments... I don't have any of the accounts that would let me post on your blog, so hopefully you'll see this. First of all, why did God create us? If you answer like most people "To worship him", then here's a question: What's the point of us worshiping God if we have to do it? What's the point of anything, really? Also, why would God make us do bad things? I do believe in some predestination, but only in so far as God has preordained things for us to do (Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”), and we can choose whether or not we want to do them. As to being "led by the spirit", that just means that the Spirit prompts you to do things, and you can choose whether or not you want to do them. Andrew P.S. I just noticed that this is exactly 1 year since my last post on this blog! Cosmic... P.P.S. You can just respond to this post on your blog, so you don't have to make a Xanga account. |
